An excellent site, with civilised membership, unlike another forum I am on where every thread ends with petty bickering, by supposedly professionals. Cheers RL Ozzie

Loving the 1 "very poor" and then nothing to back it up! This is a learning exercise so please tell me why? PM will suffice if you do not want to comment publicly.

Without the forum I would have felt a bit isolated owning my Twintop. (It is not an easy car to look after without some help and encouragement).
I have learnt a lot, made lots of friends and found a (fun) way to give something back through my own posts - especially the series of "HOW TO..." with P2.
I hope that Stu or Ozzie will take up where RL leaves off and keep the site open so that I can continue to learn and share my own ideas.
Best wishes to all
P2

I promise you all if I decide to chuck the towel in with the TT then the site WILL NOT close and will be left in safe hands and I will consult the members as how it will be managed and who should should take it over... The site would be nothing without you lot contributing and making it a little gold mine of info...

John to be quiet honest even if you did go to something else I'm more than happy with you still being in the chair so to speak the site is yours after all.... What ever you choose I'll still be here to offer my help in whatever form that is...

I have been very impressed with all the members and valuable information supplied on this web-site. The TT was our first convertible and I learnt a huge amount from reading other posts on the Forum. I aslo like the fact that members are not judgemental or cynical about answering questions (especially from TT newbies like me) and everyone has a genuine desire to offer help and guidance. I have found this site invaluable.

Which idiot voted very poor? I find the site very therapeutic in an ever demanding job I don't confess to be an expert on the TT and from time to time get things wrong, but have a genuine desire to help other TT owners.

Dear Red Leader
I am sure that even when you change cars you will still look back on these last couple of years as an important part of your life shared with "us regulars" - as we say up 'ere in Sunny Cheshire.
I will not be surprised if you keep the site going even though you may change cars.
I still keep in touch with the Triumph Six Sports Club (TSCC) of which I was a founder member in 1977/78; I last had a Spitfire up until 1994 (when I swapped for a Ford Capri) but I remain interested in Triumphs from a nostalgic viewpoint until the present day and always make a point of visiting the TSSC stand at the annual Classic Car Shows (e.g. Tatton Park 2009).
What I am saying is...let's see if we can't keep going for old times sake (?)
Does that help?
Best wishes,
P2

I don't quite know how I found this site but Thank Goodness I did. I had paid a deposit on a TT & was reading through the hints & tips in the week I was waiting to collect the car. It put me on the right road as to how to care for the car from the moment I got it & I think this site is very valuable to people who have never owner a convertible before. It's nice to know that help is out there if it's needed.

I purchased my TT in Oct. 09 and as part of the older generation I worry about things that could go wrong. Until I found this site that is, now I know there is always help, understanding and good sound advice availiable. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Great site, very informative. Enjoy reading the posts. Would miss it if it was'nt here. But do find it hard to navigate when looking for something specific(Ie cycle carrier at the moment), or trying to remember whom I was talking to on here (hence my e-mailing some people). Also I gave up trying to upload pics as they were huge. Am obviously not a pc expert and don't often get undisturbed time on here as work interupts so will remain a happy reader.

Unfortunately I can't do too much about the navigation. The host provides the framework and structure of the forum, all I do is customise it to suit. Its just a standard phpBB format.

I stumbled across this site looking for something else, I have always wanted a convertible since i could walk basically, sometime back in the 60s! I am particularly impressed with how helpful and friendly members are, I look forward to much more reading and advice.
